LYONS FALLS & OLD FORGE- This year, the Adirondack Community Chorus is once again proud to showcase their traditional Christmas concert, but there will be a few new twists.

This Holiday season, the Adirondack Community Chorus will join the Old Forge Community Chorus and the Beaver River Choraleers to present “Christmas Together: A Celebration of Christmases Around the World.”

There will be two concerts, with the first on Sunday, December 10, 3:00 P.M. at Forest Presbyterian Church in Lyons Falls, NY and the second on Saturday, December 16, 3:00 P.M., at View Art Center in Old Forge, NY.

Adirondack Director Peg Nuspliger and Old Forge Director Ingrid Narken are encouraging young people to grow in the arts by including student singers from South Lewis Central School, Lowville Academy, and Beaver River Central School.

The Concert opens with a candlelight procession by the Beaver River Choraleers singing “Silent Night;” and features songs that represent the Christmas traditions of many cultures.

Ruth Hedeen is the accompanist and Angela Bartelotte is the percussionist.

Kendra Virkler directs the Choraleers, and conducts the “Hallelujah Chorus” for the grand finale of ““Christmas Together: A Celebration of Christmases Around the World.”
