Interview: Phyllis White talks traditional parade and pre-sale tickets for 76th annual New York State Woodsmen's Field Days
BOONVILLE- The 76th annual New York State Woodsmen's Field Days is coming up the weekend of August 18, 19 and 20.
Held at the Boonville-Oneida County Fair Grounds, officials say this edition is expected to be one of the very best yet as the forestry industry continues to recover from the COVID shutdown in 2020.
As the Woodsmen's Office hustles to wrap-up final preparations, officials are taking in reservations to be in the traditional and gigantic parade, which will take place Saturday, August 19.
"So we are looking for businesses, organizations, floats, musical units, VIP's, you name it - come on in and join our line-up," said Woodsmen's Event Organizer and spokesperson Phyllis White.

As usual, the parade will start at Noon and march through downtown and up to the fairgrounds.

If you're looking to save a few dollars, White says now is the time to take advantage of the numerous options for pre-sale tickets and passes. Without a pre-sale ticket, a daily admission price is $15 for adults and $13 for children 12 and military/seniors.
As always, kids 5 and under are free through the gates.
If you take advantage of a pre-sale daily admission ticket deal, the price is $13 for adults, $9 for children 12 and under and $10 for military/seniors.
Finally, one of the most popular deals among campers and other visitors is the three-day pass deal - $40 each for adults and $25 for children 12 and under and military/seniors.
Any admission ticket grants visitors access for the day to the countless exhibits, vendor booths, demonstrations and competitions.
