Kae Young announces bid in Lowville Mayoral race

LOWVILLE- A candidate has announced their bid in this year’s Lowville Mayoral race.

Kae Young revealed this development Friday morning. She says it’s time to shift focus and take further steps to improve quality of life for village residents, while also re-booting tourism and supporting local businesses.

Young chose to reside in Lowville 20-years-ago and has been active in the community. She recently retired from Fort Drum.

Prior to her career in the Department of Defense, young was a television reporter and eventually advanced into news management.

Young is married, with 6 children and 8 grandchildren.

Mayoral elections for Lowville will be held in March.
