In local high school sports. Varsity Football action this past weekend. Beaver River defeated Herkimer Friday evening with a score of 50-21. Ending the regular season with 5 wins and 3 losses. They move on to the Quarter Final round of the Section 3 Class D playoffs Friday evening at 7 when they host Westmoreland-Oriskany.

Adirondack defeated Holland Patent Saturday evening with a score of 16-0. They finished the regular season with a 7 and 1 record and will host Bishop Ludden Friday evening at 7PM in the Section 3 Class C Sectional Quarterfinal Round.

Lowville defeated Little Falls Friday evening by a score of 54-22. They finished the regular season with a 6 and 2 record. They advance to the Section 3 Class C Sectional Championships, Quarterfinal Round match at Skaneateles Friday evening at 7.

And South Lewis lost to Green Friday night by a score of 33-0. They end the season with a 0 and 7 record.
