GREIG- A man who crashed into a tree Wednesday night in Lewis County reportedly had a BAC level twice over the legal limit and is now faced with a felony accusation, authorities say.
It happened on North Shore Road in the town of Greig shortly before 9:00 p.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Jason R. Brubaker, 47, of Myerstown, PA was reportedly driving a 2022 GMC pickup and struck a tree after going off the roadway. Deputies conducted field sobriety tests on scene, which Brubaker failed, officials said.
During processing at the Public Safety Building, investigators said Brubaker registered a .16% BAC.
He was charged with felony aggravated DWI (Leandra’s Law) and other unspecified traffic infractions.
Brubaker was arraigned with appearance tickets.
