LOWVILLE- Sufficient evidence reportedly exists to arrest a pair of figures from the Lowville Police Department over alleged falsified timesheets.
This development blossomed Thursday afternoon when the press got wind of a letter, which was published by the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office and delivered to Lewis County DA Leanne Moser and Lowville Mayor Joseph Beagle.
You may remember when State Police authorities executed a warrant to search Lowville Village Police Department in February, where officials seized various documents regarding the STOP-DWI program.
It was reported then that the Lewis County District Attorney’s Office recused itself, hence the letter from Onondaga County DA William J. Fitzpatrick.
The letter alleges official misconduct from both Police Chief Randy L. Roggie and Sergeant Philip K. Turck. Read the full letter below:

Turck is accused of submitting falsified timesheets for payment hours that were not worked. Furthermore, Roggie is accused of knowingly authorizing the timesheets.
The letter states that specific details will arrive to county and village officials in the coming weeks.
We plan to reach out to village and county officials for comment.
