Lewis County jail inmate allegedly possessed two Suboxone pills

LOWVILLE- A Lewis County Jail inmate is charged for allegedly possessing contraband in the form of pills. On Monday, the Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of David A. Gerdon III, 29. He is formally charged with a misdemeanor for possessing prison contraband in the second-degree. Police are citing a routine cell check that occurred last Saturday, where officers discovered two Suboxone pills that were found hidden inside of another container. At press time, police said that Gerdon was issued with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date. There were no further details provided. LCSO image.
