Lewis County man charged for circumventing an interlock device, aggravated unlicensed operation

DENMARK- A North Country resident is accused of violating terms of a DMV suspension by circumventing an interlock device, while also driving unlicensed, authorities say.

Erik D. Stone, 47, of Harrisville, NY was arrested last Thursday by the New York State Police (Carthage). Stone is formally charged with one count each of circumventing an interlock device and aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest was made in the town of Denmark, Lewis County.

At press time, police said that Stone was issued with an appearance ticket.
