Lewis County resident accused of criminal contempt and stalking in New Hartford: OCSO

ONEIDA COUNTY- A Lewis County area resident is accused of violating a court order of protection in the Mohawk Valley.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Paul T. Ramos, 42, of Lyons Falls, NY for one felony count of criminal mischief in the first-degree and one misdemeanor count of stalking in the fourth-degree.

Deputies say they investigated a domestic incident on Monday in New Hartford, NY.

The case was handled in conjunction with New Hartford Police Department.

In addition, police allege that Ramos made numerous phone calls to the victim.

For both of these incidents, Deputies say Ramos was in violation of a protection order.

At press time, authorities said Ramos was processed and held at the Oneida County Jail – pending an arraignment in CAP Court.
