Lewis County resident accused of criminal contempt in town of Harrisburg: NYSP

HARRISBURG- A local resident is accused of disobeying a court order in Lewis County, according to authorities.

William E. Therrien, 36, of Copenhagen, NY was arrested Monday night by the New York State Police (Lowville). Therrien is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobey court order).

Troopers say the arrest stems from a reported domestic incident earlier that evening in the town of Harrisburg.

At press time, police said that Therrien was released (on own recognizance).

There were no further details provided.
