
MARCY- A North Country resident is faced with several DWI and drug related accusations in the Mohawk Valley, including a felony, authorities say.
Gwendolyn P. Holton, 33, of Castorland, NY was arrested early Wednesday by the New York State Police (Marcy). Holton is formally charged with one felony count of aggravated DWI (w/a child passenger less than 16), along with one misdemeanor count each of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.
According to Troopers, these charges were all filed shortly before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in the town of Marcy, Oneida County.
At press time, Holton’s arrest status was listed with centralized arraignment.
There were no further details available from the State Police.
