Lewis County resident accused of petit larceny in town of Lowville: TROOPERS

LOWVILLE- A local resident is faced with a larceny charge in Lewis County.

On Thursday afternoon, the New York State Police (Lowville) announced the arrest of Michael J. Lewis, 78, of Glenfield, NY with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

Troopers said the charge stems from a larceny complaint earlier that same afternoon in the town of Lowville.

At press time, police said that Lewis was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
