Lewis County resident allegedly violated court order by calling, messaging protected victim, Deputies say

GREIG- An arrest has been made concerning a local resident who allegedly called and messaged a protected party in Lewis County.

Last Saturday, the Sheriff’s Office charged Drew A. Makuch, 27, of Glenfield, NY with one felony count of criminal contempt in the first-degree and one violation of harassment in the second-degree.

According to Deputies, Makuch is accused of making phone calls and sending messages to a person under a Lewis County Family Court order of protection.

At press time, police said that Makuch was arraigned and remanded to the county jail on $250 cash bail.
