On Thursday, September 18, 2025, Jefferson-Lewis BOCES District Superintendent, Stephen Todd, joined North Country News for part two of his latest on-air series discussing New York's latest policy to ban the use of smartphones in the classroom.

The new policy was enacted via the 2026 FY State Budget during this last legislative session.
