Lewis County resident allegedly violated court order in Lowville, according to Village Police

LOWVILLE- Police say a local resident is charged for allegedly violating a protection order.

On December 29, the Village Police Department arrested Fred E. Gardner, 57, of Castorland, NY with one count of criminal contempt in the second-degree.

Officers allege that Gardner had violated a Lewis County Court issued protection order. Specific details, however, were not included with initial reports.

At press time, police said that Gardner was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

No further information was provided.
