
LOWVILLE- A domestic dispute towards the end of last month has resulted in charges filed against a Fort Drum, NY area resident.
On Wednesday morning, the Village Police Department announced the arrest of Waylon P. Collins, 24, for one count each of criminally possessing an assault weapon in the third-degree; criminally possessing a weapon in the third-degree (large capacity ammo feeding device) and failing to safely store a firearm in a vehicle in the first-degree.
According to the Village Police Department, this domestic incident occurred on December 28 on Shady Avenue.
At press time, authorities said that Collins was released to the custody of officials from Fort Drum and will appear in Lewis County Court at a later date.
