Lewis County resident arrested for alleged intoxicated driving in Croghan, Troopers say

CROGHAN- A local resident is accused of intoxicated driving in Lewis County, authorities say.

Krista M. Clemons, 39, of Castorland, NY was arrested early Thursday by the New York State Police (Lowville). Clemons is formally charged with one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a traffic stop shortly before 3:00 a.m. in the town of Croghan.

At press time, police said that Clemons was issued with an appearance ticket.
