CROGHAN- A Lewis County resident is faced with a felony accusation stemming from a local burglary investigation nearly seven-years-ago.

On Thursday, the Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of John A. Gudridge, 23, of Lowville, NY for one felony count of criminally possessing stolen property in the fourth-degree.

According to Sheriff’s Investigators, this arrest stems from a town of Croghan camp burglary investigation in September, 2019.

Police allege that Gudridge was found in possession of a 2016 Honda Pioneer, which had reportedly been spray painted to help conceal its original identity.

The investigation remains ongoing and Gudridge was issued with an appearance ticket, returnable to New Bremen Town Court at a later date.

Lewis County Probation assisted.
