Lewis County resident charged for allegedly having sexual conduct with 11-year-old child, Sheriff's Investigators say

CROGHAN- A local resident is faced with felony charges for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with a child in Lewis County, authorities are reporting.

Ashton J. Lacomb, 18, of Croghan, NY was arrested by the Sheriff's Office last Friday. Lacomb is formally charged with two felony counts of criminal sex act in the first-degree.

According to Sheriff's Investigators, Lacomb is accused of having explicit sexual conduct with an 11-year-old child. 

Following an arraignment in Lewis County CAP Court, Lacomb was released on his own recognizance, while under the supervision of Lewis County Probation. 

Authorities said an order of protection was issued on the victim's behalf.
