UTICA- A local resident from Herkimer County is faced with a felony accusation for criminally possessing narcotics in the Mohawk Valley, authorities say.

Jason G. Manipole, 39, of Poland, NY was arrested late Wednesday afternoon by the New York State Police (Marcy). Manipole is formally charged with one felony count of criminally possessing narcotic drugs in the fourth-degree.

According to Troopers, the charge stems from an incident reported in the city of Utica, NY.

At press time, Manipole’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.
