Lewis County resident charged with criminal contempt, trespass in Watson: SHERIFF'S OFFICE

WATSON- A local resident from Lewis County is accused of violating a court order.

Last Sunday, the Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Fred E. Gardner, 57, of New Bremen, NY with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree.

Gardner was also charged with a violation of trespass.

It is alleged that Gardner violated an order of protection from Lewis County Family Court, which was set on June 12. The incident reportedly occurred on September 21 in the town of Watson.

At press time, police said that Gardner received an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Watson Town Court at a later date.
