Lewis County resident charged with criminal mischief in Croghan, Troopers say

CROGHAN- A local resident is faced with an accusation stemming from a disturbance in Lewis County, authorities say.

Justin E. Pate, 40, of Croghan, NY was arrested late Tuesday night by the New York State Police (Lowville). Pate is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief (w/the intent to damage property).

According to Troopers, the charge was filed in the village of Croghan.

At press time, police said that an investigation was pending and Pate was released.

There were no further details provided.
