Teenager charged with DWI in Trenton property damage accident released with appearance ticket, Troopers say

TRENTON- A property damage accident in Oneida County has resulted in DWI charges filed against a local juvenile, authorities say.

It reportedly happened shortly before 11:00 p.m. Tuesday in the town of Trenton.

New York State Police (Remsen) did not initially provide any crash specifics in their first reports, however; Troopers did mention that a 17-year-old teenager, from Holland Patent, NY, was formally arrested and charged with one count each of DWI and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

No injuries were reported.

At press time, police said that the teenage suspect was released on an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
