Lewis County resident faced with child sex offense related charges: NYSP Investigators

DENMARK- A North Country resident is faced with child sex offense related charges in Lewis County.

On Wednesday, the New York State Police announced the arrest of Tyler J. Chereshnoski, 21, of Copenhagen, NY with one felony count each of promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

According to investigators, these charges stem from an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force search warrant related to the transmission of child sexual exploitation material via the internet.

At press time, Troopers said that Chereshnoski was arraigned in the Town of Denmark Court; released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
