OLD FORGE- A Lewis County resident is accused of theft related charges in the Western Adirondacks.

Justin J. Munger, 37, of Croghan, NY was arrested by the Town of Webb Police Department last Friday following a larceny complaint at a local business in Old Forge, NY.

Through police investigation, Munger allegedly entered and stole an item from a business from which he was already banned from in the first place.

Police took Munger into custody after finding him walking around in the Thendara, NY area. Munger was formally charged with a misdemeanor count of petit larceny and a felony of burglary in the third-degree, due to entering a business from which he was banned.

In addition, police allege a pink flamingo inflatable toy, which Munger was wearing during his arrest, was also stolen from another local business. Police charged him with another misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

Following an arraignment, Munger was remanded to the Herkimer County Jail, without bail, police said as of this report.

He is also the suspect of another larceny case from late July, the Town of Webb Police said.
