Local emergency investigators looking into apparent explosion near Otter Creek Horse Trail System.

LEWIS COUNTY- Although details are sparse, local authorities are investigating what’s been reported as an explosion over in the Otter Creek Horse Trail System.

It happened sometime around 7:30 Friday morning.

Official details have yet to be revealed as of this report, however; Emergency Management officials confirm that the incident did occur and the Lewis County Sherriff’s Office is currently handling the case for the investigation.

Eye witness reports circulating on social media suggest that someone may have been air lifted to the hospital.
