RODMAN- An outdoor wood boiler may have caused a home in the Town of Rodman to catch fire, Jefferson County Fire officials say.
Jefferson County Fire crews were dispatched around 1:30 a.m. to 19943 Minkler Road for reports of a structure fire.
When they arrived to the home it took more than an hour to get the flames under control, Main said.
The family was able to exit the home safely and unharmed, according to WWNY-TV.
Later in the morning the Jefferson County Fire crews were called back again for reports of a rekindle, but were able to swiftly take care of the fire.
The home has been deemed a complete loss and the investigation continues.
