Local man faced with felony charges in Herkimer County larceny case, Troopers say

RUSSIA- A resident from the Kuyahoora Valley area is faced with charges, stemming from complaints of a Herkimer County larceny investigation this summer.

Terry E. Mayer, 58, of Poland, NY was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Mayer is officially charged with one felony count each of grand larceny in the fourth-degree and forgery in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a larceny case in the town of Russia, with complaints field to authorities on July 17.

At press time, State Police said an investigation was pending. An arrest status was not reported for Mayer.

There were no further details provided to report.
