
LYONSDALE- The driver of a vehicle that crashed into a snowbank late Monday in Lewis County is accused of intoxicated driving, authorities say.
Brian A. Nagy, 32, of Port Leyden, NY is officially charged with DWI and other unspecified traffic infractions, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called out to reports of a 2016 Toyota Corolla that ended up in the snowbank on Murphy Road, town of Lyonsdale. It happened shortly before 10:15 p.m.

Upon investigation, Nagy, the reported driver, appeared intoxicated. He failed field sobriety tests on scene and was taken to the Public Safety Building for processing.
While there, police said Nagy registered a .12% BAC. He was released with appearance tickets.
