Local resident charged with intoxicated driving in Oneida County, Troopers say

ROME- A local resident is faced with intoxicated driving charges in Oneida County, according to authorities.

Joelene M. Edick, 37, of Holland Patent, NY was arrested late Wednesday by the New York State Police (Marcy). Edick is officially charged with one count each of DWI (first offense), operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC) and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges were filed following a traffic stop in the City of Rome, NY shortly before 10:30 p.m.

At press time, police said Edick was released to a third party.

There were no further details available to report.
