LEE- A reported domestic incident over the weekend in Oneida County has resulted in a charge filed against a local resident, authorities say.

Steven J. Paine, 45, of Lee Center, NY was arrested Sunday night by the New York State Police (Lee). Paine was formally charged with one misdemeanor count of menacing in the third-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a reported domestic (family offense) complaint, which was filed Sunday afternoon in the town of Lee.

At press time, Paine’s arrest status suggested an appearance in centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
