MARCY- The driver who lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree this week in Oneida County was issued several tickets, according to authorities.

It was shortly after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when the Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a personal injury motor vehicle accident on the Trenton Road, town of Marcy, involving a 2005 BMW.

Investigation revealed that Stephanie Wishart, 25, of Remsen, NY was heading south and somehow lost control of her vehicle. Wishart ended up going off from the main roadway and striking a tree before her vehicle overturned.

Members from Maynard Fire Department and Kunkel Ambulance responded to assist.

Wishart was taken to Wynn Hospital for evaluation of what emergency responders described as non-life threatening injuries.

Police issued Wishart with several tickets, which were unspecified, and are all returnable to Marcy Town Court at a later date.
