Local teen charged with menacing with a weapon in Lewis County, Troopers say

DIANA- A local teenager is faced with a menacing accusation in Lewis County, authorities say.

New York State Police (Watertown) formally arrested and charged a 15-year-old juvenile from Harrisville, NY Sunday night with one misdemeanor count of menacing in the second-degree (w/a weapon).

A name or gender for the suspect was not provided from the State Police (youthful offender/juvenile status).

According to Troopers, the charge was filed in the wake of a menacing complaint, filed on June 18 in the town of Diana.

At press time, the teenage suspect was issued a family court appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
