Ava Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident in the Town of Lee

TOWN OF LEE-A 19 year old Ava man was injured in a motorcycle accident in the Town of Lee Saturday morning. The Oneida County Sheriff reported that a Road Patrol Deputy observed a downed motorcycle on Route 26 in the Town of Lee. Upon investigation, it was determined that Nicholas Paine, the operator the Motorcycle, lost control of the motorcycle because of a mechanical failure. The loss of control resulted in Paine sliding for a short distance.  Paine was transported to Wynn Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries received from the accident. Patrol Deputies were assisted on scene by Lee Center Fire Department and AmCare Ambulance.
