Lowville celebrates another successful Cream Cheese Festival

Giant Cheesecake Lowville Cream Cheese Fest

LOWVILLE- It was a picture perfect day Saturday for Lowville’s beloved Cream Cheese Festival.

In the heart of downtown, several spectators flocked to the various food vendors, crafters and all the excitement. Making a return this year was the gigantic cheesecake.

Last-year, you may remember that Kraft-Heinz doled out their individual cheesecake snacks, due to COVID regulations that, at the time, were still in place.

The festival is held to commemorate Kraft-Heinz. Their cream cheese plant in Lowville offers solid employment for several North Country families.

Cutting the cheesecake first this year was our North Country Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21).

Other political figures, including Matt Castelli (D), candidate for Congress, and Joe Pinion, U.S. Senate candidate.
