Lowville DRI project submission deadline extended through August

LOWVILLE- The deadline to submit project proposals for the village of Lowville’s DRI funding has been extended through the month of August.

The original deadline was this month of July. This development has surfaced in the wake of recent flooding that has impacted the village.

Officials from the DRI Local Planning Committee say that they have recognized the need to provide additional time for residents and businesses to focus on recovery efforts, while still allowing them the opportunity to participate in shaping the future of downtown Lowville.

The LPC continues to seek proposals to be included in the final Strategic Investment Plan, for potential funding from the $10 million allocation.

All projects must be submitted using the Lowville DRI Project Form website.

To assist project sponsors, the Lowville DRI consultant team will offer additional virtual drop-in sessions and individual meetings. Details for these support opportunities will be updated on the Village's DRI website.
