LOWVILLE- A school teenager is accused of unlawfully possessing a weapon, according to authorities.
Lowville Village Police arrested a 14-year-old student on Tuesday after investigating complaints of a fixed blade knife on school grounds.
Due to age, a suspect name was not provided, however; the teen is officially charged with unlawfully possessing a weapon (under age of 16).
Authorities say the charge is returnable to Lewis County Probation.
At press time, Lowville Police said this was an isolated incident and at no time were any students or staff members in danger.
