State Police arrest two residents from Cold Brook for alleged assault in town of Ohio

OHIO- Two local residents are faced with assault charges, following complaints of an incident last month in Herkimer County, authorities say.

Kim R. Barrows, 50, and Alyssa C. Greiner, 31, both of Cold Brook, NY were arrested Tuesday afternoon by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Both are charged with one misdemeanor count each of assault in the third-degree (w/intent to cause physical injury).

According to Troopers, the arrests stem from complaints of an alleged assault in the town of Ohio on August 14.

At press time, police said an investigation was still pending. Barrows and Greiner were issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
