Lowville Police arrest, charge local resident with criminal contempt

LOWVILLE- A Lewis County area resident is accused of criminal contempt.

On Friday, the Lowville Village Police Department arrested and charged Donovan Lipari, 26, of Lowville, NY with one count of criminal contempt in the second-degree.

Police say they investigated a report of a violation of an order of protection, where Lipari allegedly sent 5 text messages to a protected party.

Lipari was processed and released on an appearance ticket, returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.
