Lowville Police arrest local resident accused of violating court orders against two people over the last few weeks

LOWVILLE- A local resident is facing charges amidst a spree of continually violating court orders of protection over the last few weeks, according to authorities.

As of Monday, January 6, 2025, David A. Gerdon III, 29, of Lowville, NY is formally charged by the Village Police Department with three counts of criminal contempt in the second-degree and three counts of stalking in the fourth-degree.

Chief of Police Daryl R. Ortlieb says Gerdon III has been the subject of numerous reports over the last three weeks, where he is accused of continually violating court orders of protection against two individuals.

Following an arraignment in Lowville Town Court, Gerdon III was remanded to the county jail on $10,000 bail.
