
LOWVILLE- A local resident is faced with charges after being arrested twice on the same day for allegedly making contact with victims who were under court ordered protection.
On Wednesday, the Lowville Village Police charged Julie Stanton, 22, of Lowville, NY with two misdemeanor counts of criminal contempt in the second-degree.
According to police, Stanton made unwanted contact with two victims who were under a Lewis County Family Court issued protection order.
At press time, police said that Stanton was issued with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.
