Lowville State Police: Man faced with four felony sex offense charges

CARTHAGE- A man from Western New York is accused of various felony charges stemming from a North Country sex offense case, authorities say.

Timothy W. Youngs, 29, of Clifton Springs, NY was arrested Wednesday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville). Youngs is officially charged with two felony count of sex abuse in the first-degree (contact with child < 11), along with one felony count each of criminal sex act in the first-degree and predatory sexual assault against a child.

According to Troopers, these charges all trace back to sex offense complaints in the village of Carthage in June, 2020.

At press time, police said Youngs’ arrest status was listed as held.

There were no additional details provided.
