LOWVILLE: A local juvenile is accused in a Lewis County shoplifting case, authorities say. The Lowville Village Police arrested the 18-year-old suspect on Monday. A name, home address or gender for the suspect was not available by authorities. The suspect was charged with petit larceny, stemming from shoplifting complaints from a Utica Boulevard business on December 13, Police Chief Daryl Ortlieb said. The subject was released with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date. No further details were available.
