Lowville Woman Accused of Aggravated D.W.I.

VILLAGE OF CASTORLAND-A 33 year old Lowville woman is facing D.W.I. charges following a a Friday night vehicle stop in the Village of Castorland. New York State Police from the Lowville Barracks charged Ashley M. Smith with one count each of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated-Per Se with a Blood Alcohol Content of .18 of 1% or more of Alcohol in Blood; a Class B attempted misdemeanor and Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense, a Class U misdemeanor. Smith was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in the Village of Castorland Court at a later date.
