Lowville woman charged with child endangerment after four children found living in “deplorable” conditions

LOWVILLE- A village woman is accused of child endangerment.

Lowville Police were called out on Sunday to a welfare check on children to an apartment in the village (no address provided).

Upon investigating, police said they discovered four children, who were all under the age of seven, living in what was described as deplorable conditions.

On Wednesday, Village Police announced the arrest of Dakota M. Rogers, 27, for four misdemeanor counts each of endangering the welfare of a child.

At press time, authorities said that Rogers is due to appear in Lowville Town Court at a later date.

Lewis County Child Protective Service assisted.
