LOWVILLE- A local resident is accused of drug possession.
On Monday, the Lowville Village Police Department arrested and charged Rory O. Parker, 26, of Croghan, NY with criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.
Police officials say the arrest stems from a drug complaint from within the village. It is alleged that patrols found Parker to be in possession of ketamine, which is a Schedule III substance.
At press time, police said that Parker was released on an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.
Members from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
