WEBB- A single vehicle crash in the Western Adirondacks over Labor Day Weekend has resulted in DWI charges against a local man, authorities say.

Kevin G. Connell, 60, of Old Forge, NY was arrested by the Town of Webb Police shortly before 9:00 p.m. Saturday. He is officially charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and imprudent speeds.

According to Chief of Police Ron Johnston, Connell was heading north on South Shore Road in the town of Webb and crashed into a rock cut along the roadway after failing to negotiate a left curve.

Imprudent speeds were cited as a factor, but police also alleged that Connell was intoxicated when the crash occurred.

No BAC was mentioned by police.

Connell was processed and released with appearance tickets, which are returnable to the Town of Webb Court at a later date.
