LOWVILLE- Police say they have arrested and charged a man for allegedly threatening his family members.

Ryan J. Clement, 39, (no address provided) is formally charged by the Lowville Village Police for one count of menacing in the second-degree.

Chief of Police Daryl R. Ortlieb says the arrest stems from complaints of a physical domestic dispute, which occurred Sunday afternoon in the village.

It’s reported that Clement threatened bodily harm to family members with a wooden club before he was pulled over by police on Shady Ave.

Clement was issued with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.

Members of the Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police assisted.
