Man allegedly stole wallet from local retail store, deputies say

ROME- A man from the Mohawk Valley is accused of a felony offense in the wake of a larceny investigation, police say.

Philip C. Domenico, 63, of Rome, NY was arrested Thursday by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office. He is officially charged with felony grand larceny in the fourth-degree.

The arrest stems from a theft complaint on August 20. Deputies investigated and subsequently learned that Domenico allegedly stole a wallet from the Rome Walmart a day prior.

Domenico was issued with an appearance ticket and is due to address his accusation in Rome City Court at a later date.

No further details were issued via the Sheriff’s Office.
