
ROME- A local man is accused of various offenses in the wake of an alleged domestic incident this week.
On Thursday afternoon, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Cameron Shepard, 34, of Rome, NY for two misdemeanor counts of criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child, along with an additional violation of harassment in the second-degree.
The incident in question reportedly happened on Monday, as Sheriff's Deputies responded to a residence in the outer district of the city.
Upon arrival and subsequent to an investigation, it was determined that Shepard had engaged in a physical altercation with his partner, while in the presence of a child.
After being processed, Shepard was brought before Central Arraignment at Oneida County Correctional Facility and was released on recognizance.
